Welcome to Germany!!!

Today enter the world of “Air Tours Holidays” as you begin your memorable journey through Europe. On arrival at Frankfurt Airport, proceed ON YOUR OWN to the hotel & check - in. Heidelberg – Visit the Altstadt (Old Town). Visit the heart of the Black Forest. See a Cuckoo Clock demonstration. View the Rhine falls - in Schaffhausen.

After Continental Buffet Breakfast, drive to the beautiful city of Heidelberg - situated on the banks of River Neckar. Visit the Altstadt - Old Town and continue on an orientation tour of this historic city. View the mighty ruins of the Heidelberg castle from the Alstadt and visit the many squares that make up this city’s life. Next, experience a natural wonder as you drive through the mystical Black Forest in Germany, synonymous with the Black Forest Cake and home to the Cuckoo Clocks. Experience the world of Cuckoo Clocks during an interesting demonstration. Later, drive to see one of Europe’s natural wonders – The spectacular Rhine Falls in Schaffhausen.

Mt Titlis - A landscape close to heaven & Lucerne – Orientation Tour. Zurich - the commercial capital.

After Continental Buffet Breakfast, proceed for an excursion that will surely leave you spellbound. Visit the Financial Capital – Zurich, with an orientation tour of this bustling and charming city. Also, spend some time along the lake of Zurich. Next, enjoy stunning views from the world’s first revolving cable car - Rotair on your way up to Mt. Titlis (3020 mts) with Cliff Walk(weather permitting) Here, visit the Ice Grotto and indulge yourself in the world of snow on the snow terrace. Later, drive to the beautiful lakeside town of Lucerne.

After Continental Buffet Breakfast, check out and, drive to Vaduz & enjoy an orientation tour of the city. Later drive to the Tyrolean capital - Innsbruck and experience the charm of this city as you see some intriguing sights like the Golden Roof and St. Anne’s Column on Maria Theresien Strasse, from where you get spectacular views of the Alps. Next, get set for a glittering experience as you visit the Swarovski Crystal showroom in Innsbruck. Marvel at the display and buy a souvenir for your near and dear ones. Later, drive to Padova.

This city of 117 islands in the Venetian Lagoon is sure to leave you mystified. See the St. Mark’s Basilica, Bridge of Sighs, the Doges Palace, the Campanile and many more sights. Visit a Murano Glass Factory and see the skills of these master craftsmen. Later, drive to Rome – the Eternal City.

Day 06

A guided city tour of Rome. Visit St. Peter’s Basilica – The Vatican. Onto Pisa - See the Leaning Tower of Pisa.

Start your tour by visiting the St. Peter’s Basilica (Shorts / Mini Skirts or Sleeveless vests not allowed) to be amazed by its artistic and architectural genius. Visit the English Gardens and see the famous “Horlogefleurie” - “Floral Clock”, a masterpiece of technology and floral art.

Experience a guided tour for this opulent mansion of the Bourbon Kings, walk through various rooms of the palace, the Chapel, & the famous Hall of Mirrors where the Treaty of Versailles was signed. Also stroll along the Gardens of Versailles which are renowned for its size & awe inspiring landscapes. Essentials to pack
  • Enough medication that you require on a daily basis. Most pharmacies in Europe do not recognize prescriptions by Indian doctors and to get a prescription by a local doctor could cost quite a bit.
  • Extra pair of spectacles/lenses.
  • Comfortable walking shoes & umbrella.
  • All tour and travel documents ensure that you have photocopies of your visa, 1st and last page of your passport, airline tickets & keep it separate from the original.
  • All hotel addresses and hotel telephone numbers that are handed over along with your Tour Documents
  • Adapter Plugs: In the Europe the plug type is different and you will require adapter plugs to charge your phones, cameras etc. These plugs are easily available in India
  • In case you are carrying Travelers Cheques please carry a photocopy of the receipt separately
  • A tourist cannot carry more than $ 3000 or its equivalent in cash as per RBI guidelines
  • In case you are carrying any food items they have to be properly sealed and may be checked at the customs on landing. Also in case you are carrying currency in excess of Euro 10,000 this too must be declared on the customs declaration form.

  • You will need to first proceed to clear immigration. You will need to stand in the Non EU Citizens line. Please ensure you have your passport with the visa page of the country of arrival.
  • At the immigration, you may be fingerprinted and photographed.
  • After clearing immigration proceed to the baggage claim area. Please keep in mind that baggage trolleys in Europe have a charge of euro 2 per trolley. It is advisable to keep change for the usage of the trolleys.
  • After collecting your luggage please proceed towards the exit, you will pass through the customs before you exit the baggage claim area.
  • After you have exited the baggage claim area you will be greeted by your Vacations Exotica Tour Manager or Local representative who will be waiting for you outside the customs area, in the arrivals hall.


  • London & others- All our passengers arriving with the group will be met by an experienced and professional Vacations Exotica Tour Manager / Local Representative in the arrivals area situated outside the customs hall at the respective Airport
  • We would like to bring to your notice that since the group would be arriving from various cities in India like, Mumbai / Delhi / Chennai/ Bangalore / Hyderabad /Ahmedabad etc., there is a possibility that the flights could arrive at different times or even get delayed.
  • Utmost care would be taken to ensure minimum waiting periods at the airports. However, it would not be possible to arrange separate transfers for each flight.


  • We strongly recommend that you carry 01 set of clothes, basic toiletry (without any sharp objects), and other accessories in your hand baggage. This is just in case your baggage is misplaced by the airline. Please do not keep any money / valuables in your check-in luggage since the airlines are not liable. Money and valuables should be kept with you on your person or in your hand baggage.
  • Your itinerary has been designed in such a way that you get to see the maximum number of cities. Hence you would be checking in and out of hotels quite often. In view of this, we recommend that you travel as light as possible as there is no porterage in the hotels.
  • The maximum allowable weight for the check in baggage is 23 Kgs. The allowance for cabin baggage is 01 piece weighing not more than 05 kgs per person. Any sharp object like scissors, knives, shaving kit etc. cannot be kept in the hand luggage. The same has to be kept in your check-in baggage. Please note that gels and other liquids should not exceed 100 ml and have to be carried in a quart size clear plastic zip lock bag.


  • We have designed your tour in a manner that you get to see the maximum number of places during your holiday and get value for your money. This can be achieved by your co-operation in being punctual.
  • We have booked most of the sightseeing and excursions in advance for a particular time and duration. In case the group is delayed, the delay would actually deprive you of your own sightseeing time. Even the local guides have been pre-booked for certain durations and cannot extend their services beyond the specified time-limits. Please do understand that punctuality is solely in your interest and will ensure that you enjoy the full benefits of all services included in the package. Very often, the entire group may be delayed and may lose valuable time or opportunity due to a few people delaying the whole group.
  • Due to the latest driver’s driving regulations policy, it is essential that the given days itinerary is completed within the stipulated driving hours of the driver. It is possible that, if the group is delayed for some reason, the free time given at certain sightseeing places could be curtailed.


  • We have carefully chosen an air-conditioned video coach in Europe for your comfort and convenience since most of your travelling would be by coach.
  • We however request you to assist us in keeping the coach neat and clean so that all of you can be comfortable during your holiday. Please do not eat foodstuff in the coach as there is a possibility of some leftover falling all over the coach.
  • We regret that in the interest of fellow customers, smoking and drinking alcoholic beverages is not permitted on the coach.


  • Your hotels have been specifically chosen keeping in mind the location and space availability. Utmost care is taken to ensure accommodation of good quality.
  • Hotels sometimes offer the facility of complimentary safe deposit lockers, which can be availed of.
  • Please ensure that there are no damages done to your hotel room during your stay, since the same would be charged to you directly by the hotel.
  • While checking into the hotels, please wait in the lobby or coach as advised by the Tour Manager / representative. Crowding near him would only delay the check-in process.
  • Cooking of any kind is not permitted in hotel rooms and hotels may levy a heavy fine for the same
  • The check in time at all hotels is 15:00 Hrs and check out is at 11:00 Hrs.


  • In case there are requests for adjoining/ adjacent/interconnecting rooms, the Tour Manager/Hotel Staff will do their best to arrange the same. However, there is no guarantee that the same will be available.
  • In some hotels, there may be facilities like mini bar, pay television etc. These are not complimentary and you will be charged by the hotel directly. Also, please ensure that you do not cause any kind of damage to your room. In case there is any damage caused by you, you will be charged for the same.
  • There is no complimentary drinking water provided in the rooms. Normal tap water is safe to drink throughout Europe except Italy.
  • In most hotels in Europe as a triple room a rollaway bed/ cot is provided. In Europe, the size of the rooms is of standard size.


  • Continental breakfast as per the itinerary is included.
  • There is a choice of Lunch: Jain/vegetarian lunch and Dinner: Jain/vegetarian/ non-vegetarian meals. The menu, however, is fixed in advance and a la carte is not possible.
  • Some dinners may be served in the comforts of your hotel and the others in the finest Indian restaurants


  • Since the weather in Europe changes often during the day we suggest you carry warm clothing like sweaters, jackets that would be essential. Avoid carrying heavy woolens. You should also carry a cap, sunglasses, a folding umbrella and comfortable walking shoes (canvas or track shoes).


  • 1 Euro = 100 cents. Notes are in denominations of Euro 500, 200, 100, 50,20,10,05, and 01. Coins are in denominations of cents: 50, 20, 10, 05 and 01 cent.

How do I book my tour with Airtours Holidays/ Vacation Exotica?

How do I confirm my holiday?

The booking procedure:

  • Once you decide to book your holiday on any of the Air Tours Holidays/Vacation Exotica tours, you will have to fill up the Air Tours Holidays booking form. Please read the "Terms and Conditions" of the tour, stated behind the Booking Form. Our Sales staff/Associate Partners will be more than happy to assist you in filling in the same.
  • While booking any of our tours, along with the booking form, it is mandatory to enclose a non-refundable, interest – free deposit amount of USD 500, if the tour price is less than US$ 3000 & USD 1000 if the tour price is more than $3000 Per Person (adult, child).

When should I make the balance payment?

The balance payment towards tour cost should be made at least 60 days before the actual tour begins. On receiving the total tour cost from you, we will be able to issue your air tickets and your final documents. In case the above condition is not fulfilled, then there will be a delay in issuing your air ticket and subsequently arranging your visas. Incase we do not receive the total tour cost at least 60 days before departure, your booking deposit may be forfeited and your booking stands automatically cancelled.

What documents do I need to carry?


You need to be in possession of a passport, which is valid for six months prior to the date of travel.


It is mandatory to be in possession of valid visas for the country/ies to be visited for travel on your tour.

In case I wish to cancel my holiday, what would be the cancellation charges applicable?

Due to unavoidable circumstances if you have to cancel the tour, the same must be intimated to us in writing. As per the booking conditions of the tour we are constrained to levy the following cancellation charges per person:

When Cancellation is made:


  • 60 days or more prior to the departure of the tour
  • 60-30 days prior to the departure of the tour
  • 30-15 days prior to the departure of the tour
  • 15 days or less prior to departure of the tour Or a "No show" on the tour
  • Non-refundable booking deposit
  • 50% of the total cost.
  • 75% of the total cost.
  • 100% of the total cost.

Airtours Holidays reserves the right to cancel any tour prior to the departure without assigning any reason.

All monies paid by you will be fully refunded in USD only, but no compensation is payable.

How important is overseas medical insurance?

It is extremely important that you purchase an Overseas Travel Insurance Policy to cover against any possible risks such as damage, loss or accident injury to life or property while on tour.

Refund, if any?

Refunds (If any) for amendments and or cancellations will be paid directly to you by the concerned AirtoursHolidays\ Branch Office / Associate Partners through whom you have forwarded your payments to us. It would take minimum 60 days to process refunds. For cases where an airline tickets is issued, it would take at least 90 days to process the refund (if due). There is no refund payable for any unutilized services e.g. meals entrance fees, optional tours, hotels, sightseeing etc. The company is not liable for any payments due to difference in the exchange rates.

It is very simple to book a tour with Airtours Holidays .

"You"/ "Client" the Person /Persons in whose name or whose behalf the booking is made "We"/ "Us"/ "Company" means Air Tours, Inc. "Independent Contractors" means Hotelier/ Hotel owner of any airlines or shipping company or Railway. Ferry boat owner / Operator, Coach owner / Operator or any other person or organization who has been selected by the company to render services to the Client. "Tour Cost" means the amount in the Total Tour Cost column mentioned in the Air Tours Inc. Holidays Booking form at the time of booking the tour.


All information given in this brochure is based on the information available at the time of publication. We reserve the right to change any information before or after your booking the tour due to any events beyond our control. In case we are aware of any changes sufficiently in advance, we will notify you at the time of booking otherwise our Tour Manager or Local representative inform you of the changes. Major road works may necessitate route changes in the Itineraries Indian restaurants may close or change management, all of these may cause us to make changes in the itinerary. Where we know of these sufficiency in advance we will notify you, otherwise our tour Managers or Local Representative will inform you of the changes on the spot. There are also very big fairs and exhibition, where all the hotels are fully booked well in advance, and therefore it may be necessary to stay in hotels in other cities.


The menus are pre-set menus provided for meals on the tour. The typeofmeals are clearly indicated under meals. Unlike an airline, we cannot processes special meal, nor do we guarantee a special diet to the client, except to the extent mentioned herein and preferred by you. We however reserve the right to change the meal arrangement circumstances make it necessary to do so. In the event that the client wakes Up Late and misses the breakfast offered to him or the client is out on his own and reaches late and misses any meal offered to him by the company, than no claim can be made for the meal which he has missed and not utilized. The exact number of meals being served on each tour is mentioned in the "Inclusions'.


You will be out sightseeng most of the time and hence we have taken care to select hotels which are comfortable. The hotel rooms have private bath or shower. The hotels will either be those shown in the itinerary or cf the same category. Usually, the rooms are comparatively small, we would recommend only 3 persons in one room for your own comfort. Triple rooms are usually no larger than twin rooms and the third bed is often a roll away cot put in a twin room for the night. All baggage and personal effects are at all times and under al circumstances your responsibility. We will not be responsible or liable in case of loss of such items from the hotel. Any damages caused to the hotel rooms during your stay, shall be payable by you, and the company will not be liable for the same.


We may often operate more than on coach per departure data. For the comfort and convenience of our passengers, we will sometimes reverse the direction, or slightly amend the itinerary including the flight routing. We will advise you of these amendments, prior to the tour or on tour. In the event that a client misses on any part of the sightseeing tour or any such tour due delay on his part, he will not be entitled to claim refund of the same.


We use air-conditioned/air-coll luxury coaches. We have found it fair to operate daily seat rotation on board our coach, so no seat numbers are allocated. If you are carrying any highly value items on the coach, we advise you not to leave them behind when you leave the coach. We will not be responsible or liable in case of loss of such times from the coach. All baggage an personal effects are at all times and in all circumstances your responsibility. Any damages caused to the coach during your travel, shall be payable by you and the company will not be liable for the same.


All the clients traveling on an Air Tours Holiday tour must be in possession of a valid visa, if applicable. However kindly note that it is entirely at the discretion of the concerned Consulate/Authorities to grant/reject visa even after submitting all relevant documents and the company will not be held responsible for the same. The company will not be responsible for non-issuance of the visa due to receipt of incomplete/delayed documents from the clients. It is a possibility that the consulate may ask the passengers to appear for a personal interview. This is at the sole discretion of the Consulate/Authorities. Passengers whose visas are not granted must intimate us at-least 60 days in advance, at which time the company will deduct non-refundable deposittowards Administrative charges and refund the balance deposit amount. However if such intimation is received within the said period of the operation of the tour, the cancellation charges will be applicable as per the cancellations rules mentioned hereunder.

The date requested by the client will be confirmed after the client obtains the visa and is subject to the availability of the tour at the point of time.


All services such as Airline seats/Hotel accommodation/ground transportation for group tours are pre-blocked well in advance. We are liable to pay penalties to all our suppliers/vendors if these services are released within the below mentioned time frame. If circumstances make you cancel the tour, the cancellation must be intimated to us in writing. Such cancellation will attract the following cancellation charges:

Cancellation is made:


  • 60 days or more prior to the departure of the tour
  • 60-30 days prior to the departure of the tour
  • 30-15 days prior to the departure of the tour
  • 15 days or less prior to departure of the tour or a "No show" on the tour
  • Non-refundable booking deposit
  • 50% of the total cost.
  • 75% of the total cost.
  • 100% of the total cost.

The company reserves the right to cancel any tour prior to the departure, without assigning any reason. All monies paid by you will be fully refunded forthwith in USD currency only, and no compensation will be payable. In case of cruises, 100% of the cruise cost paid will be forfeited in case of any cancellations, irrespective of time of cancellation. The company cannot assume responsibility for any fees relating to the issuance and/or cancellation of air tickets or other arrangements not done through the company.


We treat all the information furnished by you as confidential and will share only the necessary information with airline, hotels and other service providers who will provide the services to you during your tour. However we may be constrained to disclose the information furnished by you. If such disclosure is required by the law or by an order of a court or the rules, regulations or enquiry by any government/statutory agency having regularly authority over the company.


At the time of booking: $500, if tour cost is less than $3000, $1000, if tour cost is more than $3000 Per Person (Adult/child). 60 days prior to the departure: The final balance tour cost. All payments must be made either by personal /cashier's check, or cash. The credit card payments will attract 4% extra charge.


A transfer from one tour to another, prior to the departure of the originally booked tour will be treated as a cancellation on that tour, thereby attracting the cancellation charges as stated hereunder and a fresh booking on another.


Refunds (if any) for amendments and/or cancellations will be paid directly to you for bookings made directly with the company's office. For bookings routed through our Preferred Sales Agent (PSA) or your travel agent, the refunds will be routed through them. It would take at least 60 days to process refunds. There is no refunds payable for any unutilized services (e.g. Meals, Entrance Fees, Optional tour, Hotel, Sightseeing etc.)


We highly recommend your purchase a comprehensive Travel Insurance in order to protect your trip against any unforeseen cancellations.


We are travel and holiday organizers only. We do not control or operate any airline, neither do we own or control any shipping company, coach or coach company, hotel, transport or any other facility or service mentioned herein. We take care in selecting all the ingredients in your holiday, but because we only select and inspect them and have no control in running them. We cannot be responsible for any injury, death, loss or damage, which is caused by the act or default of the management or employees of any hoteliers, airlines, shipping company, coach owner/coach operator who are the company's independent contractors arising outside our normal selection and inspection process.


1. There is no contract between the company and the client until the company has received the initial deposit as above per person with a duly signed booking form. The full payment must be received in accordance with the time schedule given by the company. If not paid in that time, the company reserves the right to cancel the booking with consequent loss of deposit and apply the cancellation charges as mentioned herein before.

2. The company has the right at any time and for any reason:

  • To terminate this contract after acceptance of deposit but prior to the commencement of tour without assigning any reason whatsoever in the event the company terminates this contract, the company shall refund the amount paid by the client without payment of any interest.
  • To amend, alter, vary or withdraw any tour, holiday, excursion airline, flight routing or facility, it has advertised or published or to substitute an independent contractor of similar class if it is deemed advisable or necessary. In either case, the company shall not be liable for any damage, additional expense, or consequential loss suffered by the clients or for any compensation claims made.
  • No person other than the company, in writing, has the authority to vary, add, amplify or waive any stipulation, representation, term or condition mentioned herein.
  • In the event of the company exercising its rights to amend or alter any of the services as mentioned in the itinerary, after such tour or holiday has been booked, the client shall have the right: To continue with the tour of holiday as amended or attend or, to accept any alternative tour or holiday which the company may offer. In either of these above cases, the client shall not be entitled to, or the company shall not be liable to the client for any damage, additional expense, consequential loss suffered by him or to pay any amount as refund.

3. The company shall in no circumstances whatsoever be liable to the client for:

  • Any death, personal injury, sickness, accident, loss, delay, discomfort, increased expenses, consequential loss and/or damage or any misadventure however caused.
  • Any act, omission, default of independent contractor or other person or be any servant or agent, employed by them who may be engaged or concerned in the provision of accommodation, refreshment, carriage facilities or service for the client or for any person traveling with him howsoever caused.
  • The temporary or permanent loss of or damage to baggage or personal effects howsoever caused. In this condition the expression any consequential loss or additional expense whatsoever.

4. A) If the client has any complaint in respect of the services provided by any of the independent contractors, the client shall immediately notify the same in writing to the independent contractor and a copy thereof should be handed over to the tour manager of the company in order to enable the company to take up the matter with the matter with the independent contractor so that in future other clients do not face the same difficulty.

    B) Any claim or complaint by the client must be notified to the company in writing within 7 days of the end of this holiday tour. No claim notified to this company beyond this period will be entertained and the company shall incur no liability whatsoever in respect thereof.

1. It is hereby declared that the immunities provided under this contract shall be available to the company's managers, including tour managers, employees, servants and agents but not to the independent contractors selected by the company.

2. Each of these conditions shall be severable from the other. If any provision be declared invalid, illegal or unenforceable, then the remaining provisions shall nevertheless have full force and effect.

The prices quoted in our proposal have been calculated at the rate prevailing. The company reserves the right to amend the price in case of currency fluctuations, changes in the various cross rates of exchange and/or fuel cost, before the date of departure and charge accordingly. All such increases in price must be paid for in full before departure by the client.
