Today enter the world of “Air Tours Holidays” as you begin your memorable journey. On arrival at the Tokyo airport, meet tour manager at 1430 hrs on arrival area and proceed to your hotel & check in. (Early check – in subject to availability). Kindly make your own arrangement if you are unable to meet Tour Manager at designated time.

Guided City Tour of Tokyo. Visit the Asakusa Kanon Temple. Visit Imperial Palace Plaza and Tokyo Tower

After breakfast at the hotel, proceed on a guided tour of Tokyo. Visit the 7th Century Buddhist temple – the Sensoji Temple in the AsaKusa Kanon District. Later see the Imperial Palace – the residence of the emperor of Japan. Also visit the Nakamise Shopping Arcade, where you have a chance to buy some local Japanese souvenirs. Enjoy Indian lunch at a restaurant.Later, visit Tokyo Tower, 150m observation deck. Later drive to the Ginza area and see the fashion and glamour of Tokyo.

Mount Fuji and Hakone Tour.

After breakfast at the hotel, check out and experience Mt. Fuji, Japan’s most famous symbol! Take in the amazing views from Mt. Fuji 5th Station (weather permitting) before moving to Hakone, where you will visit the Owakudani valley. Enjoy Indian Lunch

Embarking on a scenic boat ride on tranquil Lake Ashi. Later, enjoy a gondola ride on the Komagatake Ropeway for a sweeping view of Hakone and Mt. Fuji before returning to Tokyo late this afternoon. Tonight enjoy Indian Dinner at a restaurant

Tokyo/Takayama.

Today after breakfast check out and transfer to Tokyo Station to board thrilling train ride via bullet train headed for Toyama. A delightful small town nestled in the majestic Japanese Alps. Over the next few days you’ll travel back in time as you explore rural Japan where traditional-style architecture, ancient culture and fascinating customs have been proudly preserved. After settling into your hotel in the heart of Takayama, embark on a guided walk through the enchanting narrow streets of the Kami-sannomachi district graced with beautiful old wooden homes, delightful small shops, coffee houses and sake breweries, many of which have been in business for centuries. You’ll also view the Festival Floats Exhibition Hall featuring huge floats, decorated with intricate carvings, gilded wood and detailed metalwork, that are paraded through the streets of Takayama during festival times. Visit the Folkcraft Museum, formerly a private residence that is a prime example of Meiji Era architecture.

Takayama / Shirakawago / Kanazawa.

Today enjoy a scenic drive through the picturesque countryside to the rural region of Shirakawago, a UNESCO World Heritage Site where you’ll discover fascinating examples of old steep thatched roof houses. This unique architectural style, harmonized into the magnificent mountain landscape, was developed over 100 years ago to survive the harsh winters. You’ll visit one of these houses and learn more about daily life in this remote area. Proceed to the village of Gokayama where you’ll enjoy a demonstration of traditional Japanese papermaking techniques. Later this afternoon arrive in the Kanazawa, blending modern living with traditional heritage.

Kanazawa/Kyoto.

Today enjoy a visit to the historic Oumicho Market, a busy and colorful market and explore along with local residents some of the 200 shops selling seafood, vegetables, fruits, flowers, regional specialties and more. Later you’ll be whisked back in time to the exciting Edo period when you visit the Nagamachi district, a small neighborhood of narrow, cobblestone streets where brave samurai warriors once lived. Many homes are still occupied by the samurai descendants but you’ll visit the Nomura Family house that is open to the public where you can admire the stone lanterns and bridges in the garden as well as the cypress-wood ceiling in the residence. Proceed to the beautiful Kenrokuen Garden, one of the finest gardens in Japan and marvel at the waterfalls, ponds and charming tea-houses. Later, stroll through the charming Higashi Geisha district before transferring to the station for your train ride to splendid Kyoto. Embodying Japan’s rich culture and complex history, Kyoto has over 2000 temples and shrines, delightful gardens and exceptionally preserved wooden buildings. The sights, wonderful local cuisine and exceptional arts and crafts are certain to enchant you! Upon arrival in Kyoto, transfer to your hotel.

Day Trip to Kyoto and Nara.

After breakfast at the hotel, proceed to Nara – the first capital of Japan. Visit the Nara Deer park which is home to nearly 1200 deer’s, which have been designated as a national treasure and have become a symbol of the city. Also visit the Todaiji Temple which has the largest statue of Buddha in Japan. Proceed to Kyoto. On arrival enjoy Indian lunch at a restaurant.

Later proceed to visit the Kiyomizu temple – a UNESCO world heritage site. Also visit the Golden Pavillion and see the Nijo Castle. On your way back, stop for photographs with the magnificent Osaka Castle as the backdrop.

Later proceed to Osaka. On arrival in Osaka transfer to the restaurant for dinner. Later proceed to your hotel& check in to your hotel.

Tour of Hiroshima

After breakfast at the hotel, check out proceed to train station on a guided city tour of Hiroshima, where time stood still when the city was devastated during World War II by the atom bomb. See the Cenotaph which is a tribute to all those people who died due to the bombing.

Visit the A-Bomb Dome – the only building that remained after the bombing which has now become the symbol of Hiroshima. See the Peace Park and much more. Enjoy Indian lunch at a restaurant. Take a train back to Osaka.

      - In case you wish to deviate from the group departure dates mentioned in the brochure i.e. either travel before the departure date of your tour or would like to come back on a later date after the tour ends, there will be an additional charge that will be applicable which will be advised to you by our sales team. The same is subject to availability of seats & class for the given dates & ticket validity. Kindly also note, the deviation request is to be made at the time of booking.
    • Cost of Transfer:

      The individual arrival & departure transfer in case you have opted for deviation or purchase on separate ticket & not traveling under group ticketing.

    • Keeping in view of Luggage compartment of coach & Internal Flight regulations, we strongly recommend you to carry only medium size Bag of 20kg and 1 carryon bag of 5 kg per person.
    • The dates and granting of Visas is at the sole discretion of the concerned consulate. Air Tours are not responsible for granting of visas and are only a facilitator in the visa application process.
