Arrival At Nairobi Depart For Samburu Game Reserve Day1

ARRIVAL NAROBI – DEPART FOR SAMBURU GAME RESERVE

On arrival at Nairobi Airport, after you disembark off the flight, proceed through immigration and custom procedures; you will be greeted by your friendly representative. Depart for Samburu Game reserve located at the North rugged Semi desert region. Samburu Game Reserve is a wild and little visited region, well known for spectacular scenery and wildlife not found in the south: Reticulated Giraffe, the rare Grevy’s Zebra with its large furry ears, the Gerenuk antelope standing on its hind legs to feed and Somali Ostriches with their distinctive blue legs. Arrive at Samburu Intrepids Camp in time for lunch.

Samburu Intrepids is a lush oasis on the banks of the great Uaso Nyiro River in Samburu Game Reserve. The tented lodge is a delight to be in – deliciously cooled by the river breeze and the forest. The luxury tented camp sits on raised decks overlooking the brown river where the elephants sometimes make an appearance or the crocodiles come out to lounge by the river’s banks. Depart on an afternoon game drive until dusk.

To demonstrate the importance of purchasing travel insurance, and emergency travel services, here are 10 common examples of what could go wrong.

  • Your first visit to Europe, and your passport and wallet are stolen. Where do you turn for emergency cash, and how will you get your passport replaced?
  • You're involved in an accident and adequate medical treatment is not available. Who will help arrange and pay for a medical evacuation?
  • If your sister-in-law becomes seriously ill and you must cancel your trip, what happens to your non-refundable deposits or pre-payments?
  • You arrive in Jamaica and your luggage doesn't. If it's lost, who will help you find it? If it's delayed, who will pay for your necessities? If it's stolen, who will pay to replace it?
  • You're walking down a street in Rio and twist your ankle. Who can help you find an English-speaking physician?
