Meet and greet at Istanbul airport. Transfer to the hotel. (Early check-in subject to availability.) Evening Bosphorus Cruise along the Bosphorus, the winding strait separating Europe and Asia. Bosphorus coastline is a delightful mixture of the past and the present where one can enjoy the grand splendour and quaint beauty of the ancient wooden mansions, palaces of marble, fortresses and small fishing villages and visit of Spice Market.

Saturday // Istanbul
Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning start the visits with St. Sophia, Byzantine Hippodrome, in which stand the obelisk brought from Egypt by Theodosius and the Serpent Column taken from Delphi by Constantine, followed by the visit to Blue Mosque, which has six minarets and a middle dome of 109 feet. The last stop is the Grand Covered Bazaar dating back to 15th century. It covers over 4,000 shops, under one roof. Afternoon at leisure.

Sunday // Istanbul - Ankara - Cappadocia
After breakfast transfer to Ataturk Airport for an early flight to Ankara, the capital of Turkey and one of the fastest growing cities in the world with a history that can be dated back 3000 years. Upon arrival visit the Anatolian Civilisations Museum, which also exhibits the remains of Catalhoyuk, the Neolithic village dating back to 6500 BC. Then visit the Mausoleum of Ataturk, the founder of modern Turkey. After lunch at a local restaurant in Ankara, destination is the mysterious Cappadocia.

Monday // Cappadocia
Breakfast at the hotel. Visit Kaymakli Underground City; carved out of rock and completely self contained. More than 200 people lived on each of seven floors. Next will be the natural citadel of Uchisar. Lunch at a typical restaurant and visit Goreme Open-Air Museum, which is full of pink, rose and white tapering columns. The caves were settled in the 4th century as monasteries. Tour will end with visits to Pasabag Valley and Avanos Village.

Tuesday // Cappadocia – Konya – Pamukkale
Breakfast at the hotel. Later transfer to Konya. En route visit 13th century Sultanhani Caravanserai built on the famous silk route. In Konya the Mausoleum of Mevlana, the worldwide famous mystic. Continue to Pamukkale, the cotton fortress. Hot mineral waters burst from the earth and cascade over cliffs forming pools and stalactites.

Wednesday // Pamukkale – Aphrodisias – Kusadasi
Breakfast at the hotel. Stroll through the ruins of ancient Roman City Hierapolis and transfer to Kusadasi. En route lunch at a local restaurant and visit Aphrodisias, an ancient city dedicated to the goddess of love, Aphrodite, and famous for its sculpture school.

Thursday // Kusadasi – Ephesus – Izmir
Breakfast at the hotel. Visit the House of Virgin Mary. Continue to Ephesus, Roman capital of Asia Minor. Visit the ruins of Odeon, Hercules Gate, the temple of Hadrian, the magnificent library, Agora and the fantastic Greco-Roman theatre. After lunch visit the Basilica of St. John. Drive to Izmir.

Breakfast at the hotel. Day at leisure to explore the city on your own. You can visit (on your own) Ancient Agora - Izmir's Ancient Agora was once a bustling Roman bazaar and today you can still see Colonnades of Corinthian columns, vaulted chambers and a reconstructed arch making it one of the best preserved Agoras in the world or Kadifekale - The ruins of Alexander the Great's Castle, Kadifekale (meaning "the velvet castle" in Turkish), sits atop a hill overlooking the city below.

Saturday // Izmir - Istanbul
