Arrive Bhopal. Sightseeing of Bhopal
Bhopal is known as the City of Lakes, due to the presence of various natural and artificial lakes. It is also one of the greenest cities in India. Arrive and private transfer to your hotel. The city offers much in terms of sightseeing. Start with the State Museum, Museum of Mankind and Tribal Museum, an open-air anthropological museum. In the morning you can enjoy Heritage walk to explore the rich history of the city and visit places such as Gauhar Mahal, Iqbal Maidan, Sadar Manzil, Shaukat Mahal and Taj-ul Masjid, believed to be the largest mosque in Asia.

Onto Satpura.
Bhojpur: Founded by the legendary Parmar King of Dhar, Raja Bhoj (1010-53) and named after him, Bhojpur, 28 km from Bhopal, is renowned for the remains of its magnificent Shiva Temple and Cyclopean dam. The temple, which has earned the name of the Somnath of the East, is known as the Bhojeshwar temple. The richly carved dome, though incomplete, has a magnificent, soaring strength of line and is supported by four pillars. It remains one of the best examples of temple architecture of the 12th and 13th centuries.
Bhimbetka:Surrounded by the northern fringe of the Vindhyan ranges, Bhimbetka lies 46 km south of Bhopal. In this rocky terrain of dense forest and craggy cliffs, over 600 rocks shelters belonging to the Neolithic age were discovered, with over 500 caves having paintings that depict the life of the prehistoric cave dwellers. Bhimbetka group is an archaeological treasure, an invaluable chronicle in the history of man.
Madai: Located amidst sprawling forests, shimmering backwaters, rich wildlife, under a sky full of twinkling stars, where the air is crisp and clean, Madhai is a balm to the soul. As it is the entrance to the Satpura forest, you will be able to experience nature at its best, complete with wilderness, tranquillity and mystery. Madhai will mesmerize you with its natural beauty, the river Denwa and surreal sunsets that are a riot of colours. The peaceful silence here speaks volumes to your soul.

Sprawled over 524 km sq, Satpura National Park is one of the gems in the heartland of the country. Home to tigers, leopards, sambar, chital, Indian muntjac, nilgai, four-horned antelope, chinkara, Gaur, wild boar, wild dog, bear, blackbuck, fox, porcupine, flying squirrel, mouse deer, Indian giant squirrel, and numerous species of birds, this is a region of rich and diverse biodiversity.
